Sink and faucet maintenance guide:
Just use a damp soft cloth and liquid dish soap, then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth. Most common household cleaners (including mild abrasives) can be used, provided the manufacturer's directions are followed.
Never use cleaners containing abrasives (including abrasive sponges or steel wool), ammonia, bleach or sodium hypochlorite, organic solvents (e.g. alcohols) or any other strong chemicals (eg scale remover) to clean as they may damage the finish.
To remove traces of limescale, soapy water is ideal. But do not forget to remove the encrusted particles with a dry cloth. For more stubborn stains, vinegar or baking soda are economical solutions.
Manual : Prepare a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray directly on the limestone plates. Let it act for a few minutes. Scrub with a sponge or an old toothbrush. For even more efficiency, add baking soda to the vinegar mixture. Soap pump maintenance: You can clean it with a soft cloth to restore its luster. Do not use soaps with microbeads or built-in glitter, as this will clog the pump. If you feel that the mechanism is starting to clog, fill its tank with hot water and empty it completely. To slow the clogging of the soap dispenser, it is recommended to prepare a solution of 70% soap and 30% water.
